About Pine Street Sports Camp
New for 2024! Pine Street Sports Camps provide an engaging and enriching summer camp experience for children entering Grades 4-8. Campers will enjoy lots of action as they learn the fundamentals of a variety of sports in a fun and exciting way! Our experienced coaches dive into a diverse range of sports activities including basketball, soccer, volleyball, floor hockey, martial arts and more.
Registration is by the week, and each week has a new theme for students to enjoy!
WEEKLY FEES
Full Day (8:30am-3:30pm): $1,125
Early Drop-off (8-8:30am): $35
Late Pick-up (3:30-5pm): $65
Walking Bus (older siblings: round trip from BPM to PSS): $80
*Lunch & snack are included.
Payments/Refunds:Â Payment is due in full at the time of registration. Refunds of 50% are possible if you cancel before May 1, 2024. After May 1, summer camp payments are non-refundable.

Week 1: Sports Camp, June 24-28 | Dynamic Sports
Welcome to our Dynamic Sports Summer Camp session. Week 2: Sports Camp, July 1-5 | Dynamic Sports
Get ready to dive back into the world of sports with even more energy and enthusiasm in session 2 of our Dynamic Sports Summer Camp! Whether you're honing your shooting skills in Basketball, showcasing your finesse on the Soccer field or spiking your way to victory in Volleyball, this session promises non-stop action and excitement through our wide ranging sports offerings.

Week 3: Sports Camp, July 8-12 | Basketball
Welcome to the highly anticipated first session of our Basketball Sports Summer Camp! Get ready to lace up your sneakers and hit the court for an action packed adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, our great coaches are here to help you sharpen all of your basketball skills.
Week 4: Sports Camp, July 15-19 | Basketball
Building on the skills and camaraderie from our first session, get ready to take your game to the next level. Whether you’re a returning player or joining us for the first time, our dedicated coaches are here to help you refine your techniques, elevate your teamwork and master the court!
Week 5: Sports Camp, July 22-25 | Soccer
Welcome to the kickoff of our Soccer Sports Summer Camp’s first session! Get ready to lace up your boots and hit the pitch for an exciting summer of fùtbol fun! Whether you’re a budding talent or a seasoned player, our passionate coaches are here to help you refine your dribbling, passing, shooting and defensive skills.
Week 6: Sports Camp, July 29-August 2 | Soccer
In the second session of our Soccer Sports Summer Camp, we will be building on the skills and teamwork from our first session. Get ready to elevate your game to new heights. Whether you’re a returning player or joining us for the first time, our devoted coaches are here to help you fine-tune your techniques and enhance your strategy to dominate the pitch!
Week 7: Sports Camp, August 5-9 | Volleyball
Get ready to bump, set and spike your way to an amazing summer in our Volleyball Sports Camp! Whether you’re an experienced player or just beginning, our dedicated coaches are here to guide you through the fundamentals of volleyball and help you master the court!
Week 8: Sports Camp, August 12-16 | Volleyball
In the second session of our Volleyball Sports Summer Camp, we will be building on the skills and teamwork from our first session. Whether you’re returning from session one or you’re joining us for the first time, our coaches will provide every opportunity to improve your volleyball skills through a mix of skill-building exercises, engaging drills and friendly scrimmages

Summer Camp FAQ
A sibling discount does not apply to our Summer Camp Sports program.
We typically confirm staff in May. Historically, the staff include current (and former) teachers and Afterschool counselors, returning camp staff from prior years, and one or two new staff members from any of our Green Ivy Schools. We select camp staff with the same emphasis on nurturing and health and safety that we use when hiring classroom teachers.Â
Yes! We now offer a Walking Bus for all older siblings of BPM campers who are attending Pine Street Camp for an additional fee. You can drop off both children at Battery Park Montessori between 8-8:15am. We leave BPM at 8:15am sharp, so please be on time. Walking Bus PSS campers will be brought back to Battery Park Montessori by 4pm. If your children are signed up for Late Pick-Up, older siblings will remain in their own dedicated classroom in Battery Park Montessori until pick-up.
Yes, lunch is included for all campers.
We share camp lunch menus with families ahead of time via email.
Yes, snacks are provided and included in camp fees.
Currently, we are mask optional. We follow the guidance set forth by our governing authority - the Department of Health (DOH). In the event there is a change, we will inform families.
Yes. All staff must be fully vaccinated (COVID and otherwise). No exceptions.
Drop-off takes place at the front door, where campers are greeted by Green Ivy staff and brought to their classrooms.
Due to space limitations, we are not allowing storage of scooters, bikes, etc. at drop off.
No previous experience needed! This camp provides instruction and opportunities for a wide range of skills/abilities. A positive attitude and a desire to learn is all your camper needs to be successful.
Campers should wear comfortable athletic clothing including: tee shirts, tank tops, shorts, sweatpants, etc. Campers should also wear comfortable athletic sneakers. Dress shoes, sandals and Crocs are highly discouraged.
Shin guards for soccer and knee pads for volleyball are highly recommended. A water bottle is also recommended.
Throughout the week, we will be having sports sessions at outdoor facilities and parks in the FiDi and neighboring areas.
Yes! We share photos/videos frequently with families.
