The International Baccalaureate (“the IB”) is known for its academic rigor and highly respected among colleges and universities worldwide. It is considered a gold standard in education. Pine Street School is the only school in New York City and one of just a few in the world offering the PYP with dual language options in both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish and then continuing this inquiry-based approach, offering the MYP with Spanish dual language through 5th Grade.

The curriculum will follow the Common Ground Collaborative, which is fully aligned with the principles and practices of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program and an extension of the entire elementary school experience.
