Academic Outcomes at Pine Street School

Measures of Academic Progress (MAP)

The NWEA MAP assessment is designed to measure what students know and how they are growing academically in core subjects including Math, Language Usage, Reading, and Science. Understanding where students are academically helps Pine Street School's teachers develop meaningful strategies for individualized instruction that maximizes each student's potential.

At Pine Street School, our students' averages place them several grades above the norms. For example, the Pine Street Students in Grade 5 average scores of 225 for Language Usage, which is higher than the Grade 11 end of year average (222).
